Girls on the Run

Inspires girls to be joyful, healthy, and confident by harnessing the power of physical activity and running. Over 10 weeks, girls learn impactful positive life lessons while they prepare for the culminating 5k at the end of the season. The 5k is not about running a race, it is about goal setting, believing in yourself, and learning to persevere as an individual and a team. Girls do not need to be able to run to participate! A wide variety of abilities are welcome! We encourage girls to keep moving to the best of their ability.
Individuals are encouraged to meet/talk with the director to determine if additional supports (e.g, parent/guardian, running buddy, behavior specialist, etc.) are needed to allow each participant to be successful.
